Where I've worked

Working on operations and strategy for my family's memorial and insurance services practice, assessing workflows across a 15-agent team and building out bilingual training and marketing materials for underserved communities. Putting together analyses and recommendations on revenue growth, agent retention, and day-to-day efficiency.

Co-lead a student consulting group of 20 that advises real clients on sustainability strategy, from scoping the problem to presenting recommendations. Recently led a project advising Didómi, a water-scarcity social enterprise, on their market-entry marketing strategy & design for U.S. college campuses.

Run the group day to day: rehearsals, bookings, and budget, on top of performing. Before this I was Finance Officer, managing our roughly $2K annual budget, and helped bring the group back after a hiatus.

Help other students with resumes, interviews, and figuring out what they actually want out of a job search.

Awarded a selective fellowship to research global sustainability policy, markets, and accessibility, which took me through 15+ field interviews across East and Southeast Asia and the Western U.S. Presented my findings alongside two other fellows at the annual CMC Atheneum Appel Celebration Dinner.

Lead a team of First Year Guides supporting new students through their first semester at CMC, organizing orientation programming and mentoring about 20 first-years through events and open door hours. This is my second time in the role, after doing it as a sophomore.

Talked with prospective students and families in person and on the phone about my experience at CMC, especially with first-gen students weighing their options, and answered questions about campus life, culture, academics, and more.

Rebuilt how we organized client and contract files, cleaning up 100+ files, and handled tech support for agents across devices and company software. Also built marketing materials that helped reach more than 100 Hispanic families.

Co-founded a zero-waste refillery with my sister, starting at a market booth in Downtown Pomona. Over four years we grew it past $75K in revenue across 200+ products and served more than 4,000 customers, while tightening up our operations enough to cut costs by over 20%. Ran vendor sourcing, finances, and web design until we closed the business in 2025 due to time constraints.

Started and ran a mobile auto detailing business, serving clients across the Inland Empire and Los Angeles County. Handled scheduling, marketing, and client relations while doing the detailing myself, and picked up certifications from professional detailing companies along the way. Built a loyal repeat customer base along the way.
